The MSTG(G)’s executive committee, who help to make the MSTG(G) the fantastic resource and support facility it is, are the charity’s Trustees. The current committee consists of the following people:

John Hambly

A Chartered Building Surveyor before retiring in 2007, John became Chairman of the MSTG(G) in October 2003. Married with four children, John, who is in his mid-forties, was diagnosed with relapsing/remitting MS in January 1999 and secondary progressive MS in June 2007.
Formerly a keen rugby player, John is the driving force behind the Samson Centre Project and a tireless fund-raiser, thanks to his many business and sporting contacts, and his December 2007 appearance on Channel 4’s "Deal or No Deal".

Jim Fardell
Jim was a Chartered Civil Engineer who has worked in the Building and Process Plant construction industries for 40 years. Jim has now "retired" to concentrate on his other job as main carer of his wife Mary.
Mary was diagnosed with primary progressive MS in 1985 and has been using a wheelchair since 1993. They first joined the MS Society in 1979 and have been members of the MSTG (G) since 2000. Jim has served on the committee since 2006.

Jackie Britneff
Jackie’s been a single mum for 20 years and has done various jobs over the years to fit in with Emma’s schooling (running an organic smallholding, upholstery, gardening, classroom assistant, etc.). She also found time to train as a Cranial Sacral Therapist. She was diagnosed with MS in 1998 and joined the committee in 1999.
She is now in network marketing, helping people to build their own businesses and get the lifestyle they want.

Vince Tucker
Vince was a technology salesman before "retiring" in 2006. He sold both computer software and telecomms hardware between 1989 and 2006. He was diagnosed with secondary progressive Multiple Sclerosis in December 2005 and stopped work in April of the following year.
Married with a 22 year old daughter, Vince is 49 years old. He became a committee member in October 2008 and is looking forward to contributing to the Samson Centre as he feels he has benefitted greatly from its support since his own diagnosis.
