We have a wonderful event to enjoy, to share with friends and which will raise valuable funds for our Centre the ‘Summer Marquee Buffet Luncheon’. Complete with guest speaker David Ford, Art & Antiques Valuer and of Dickinson’s Real Deal and Secret Dealers, who will give an interesting talk and also undertake some valuations. It promises to be a fun and interesting occasion, all served up with a delicious buffet and some wine (or non alcoholic refreshment if preferred).
There will be reserved parking close to the marquee for wheelchair users or those unable to walk too far. The marquee itself will be on a grassed area which could be uneven, but there are no actual slopes to contend with. If it has been wet the grass could prove more difficult for access for people using heavy, motorised wheelchairs but we do hope for a flaming June! We will have a strong and willing volunteer on hand to assist, if this is the case.
If you would like to purchase tickets they are available from the Tourist Information Centre by phone, online and drop-in, or alternatively from Jackie in the office at the Centre.
I would ask everyone to assist in promoting this event if you can by distributing the flyer to friends and family who you think could be interested either by forwarding this email or by handing out hard copies, which will available week beginning 15th May, at the Centre.
Please note that as the marquee is in the grounds of a private home there will unfortunately be no disabled toilet facilities available on this occasion.
