Cranleigh Golf Club Cross Country Event
It was an excellent day all round: much enjoyed by the golfers and good takings for the Centre. In addition to the takings at the hut and the raffle, the competition entry fees less the costs for the hut refreshments can be added taking the total for the day to over £900. Debbie Boulter and Chris Elliott were in attendance for a fun packed day and had great fun help raise monies for the Samson Centre . How lucky are we to be charity of the year .


A day out at Goodwood Festival of Speed
One of our oxygen volunteers, Chris Geohegan, was the lucky winner of two raffle tickets to Goodwood Festival of Speed. The tickets were kindly donated by the son of one of our members, Judith Weeks. Chris and his son had an amazing day out and took a few photos to prove it !


Cerys & Lottie's fundraiser for Samson Centre for MS
On Sunday 12th July, Cerys Hambly and her friend Lottie took part in the London 10k marathon to raise money for the Samson Centre. They ran the 10k on a very hot day so well done girls ! Learning Pilatchi
On Tuesday all our physios and rehab assistants qualified as Pilatchi Instructors. Pilatchi is inspired by Pilates and Tai Chi using resistance bands secured to your hands and feet to improve flexibity and strength. It improves balance, cardiovascular ability, core strength and improves your calmness and sense of well-being. Many thanks to Resistance Pilatchi | A new form of resistance training.


Fundraiser by Marina Munro : Riding the Downs Link
On June the 27th, Marina took part in a 60km cycle ride along the Historic Downs Link route — following the old railway line from Shamley Green to Shoreham-by-Sea — to raise money for two causes, one of which is the Samson Centre. Glynis Marshall's Birthday Fundraiser
Thank you so much Glynis for celebrating your birthday with a fundraiser for the Samson Centre for MS. There was cake, friendship, laughter and generous friends who donated a massive £488. Happy Birthday Glynis and thank you for sharing it with us.


Guildford Golf Club Captain's Day
Thank you so much Guildford Golf Club for making the Samson Centre your charity of the year. Fun was had at the Captain's Day with a great barbecue and some golf thrown in too.


New Zealand Golf Club Charity Golf Day
How amazing it is when your community gets behind a cause. This is exactly what Trevor Gregg from the New Zealand Golf Club did again for MS Surrey and the Samson Centre with a well-organised charity golf day which raised over £12,000 for each charity. Without the support of our local community we would not be able to provide the vital services to our members. Thank you so much.


HPS Farnborough Plumbing Services
Wow what a difference a company can make. The wonderful HPS Farnborough have adopted us as their charity and have already raised more than £2,000 for us. In addition, their own supporters and regular customers got behind our cause by donating their time to do vital work at the Samson Centre last Friday. The lovely Dan worked his magic doing repairs and his time was donated by his boss Dave Shearer from Phoenix Plumbing Services. HPS supplied all the parts free-of-charge. Than


Choirblast
The most uplifting day at the Godalming performance by ChoirBLAST. Any Samson Centre members or family wanting to join our choir, please come along on a Monday afternoon at 2pm. No experience or great vocal qualities needed. Singing has such a positive impact and helps in so many ways.


Two Fetes in one weekend !
The weekend of 13th and 14th of June was filled with bric-a-brac ! On Saturday, the Samson Centre had a bric-a-brac stall at Milford fete with a repeat performance at Chiddingfold on Sunday. Debbie, Judy and Martin gave up their weekends and worked hard at both fetes. They raised a very well-earned £1,200 between the two days. Well done to all involved !


Ruth's Birthday Celebrations

Pam's Coffee Morning
A huge thank you to our very own Pam Davies for her annual fundraiser where she hosts the most amazing coffee morning in aid of The Samson Centre . With an array of cakes, a wonderful raffle, and a table of goodies for sale !!! Pam raised a massive £2,378.75 . Frensham Ponds 10 hour Charity Race
A big thank you to Kate Hedley, Vice Commodore of Frensham Ponds Sailing Club and to everyone who took part in or attended the 10 hour sailing race on Saturday 9th May. A great day was had by all, raising an amazing £5,042 for the Samson Centre.
